Adam Carew is National Chairman, Green Liberal Democrats, who are one of the largest campaigning organisations in the party.  He has been working with MPs , the Local Government Association's (LGA) Liberal Democrat Group and Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors (ALDC) to put climate change and green issues at the top of the party's political agenda. 
Adam went to school in Blackmoor and Liphook and college in Alton where he was in the same class as New Labour Housing Minister Yvette Cooper.

Adam is a  County Councillor for Whitehill, Bordon and Lindford and District Councillor, Whitehill Walldown.
 
Adam stood for NE Hants in the 2005 General Election (selected Nov 2004, for May elections 2005), where he ran his own Parliamentary and County Campaigns at the same time. In just 6 months he achieved a swing above the national average, increased the Lib Dem share of the vote by 4.2 %, putting 5000 between Lib Dems and Labour and  took a County Seat with and 800 plus majority.  

Adam is a wildlife ecologist by profession and still occasionally lecturers in ecology and local history when he is not engaged in council work.

He is partnered to designer and artist Jenny Childe.
